BLOOM
Bloom is a short animatic I created for my Animation Independent Study under the guidance of Professor Lorie Loeb in 2021.
From storyboard, to animatic, to story reel, Bloom is about the human struggle of learning to let go of the past without fully forgetting it.
BuzzFeed AR Filter Initiative
In 2022 I collaborated with BuzzFeed Animation Lab’s talented animators as a production manager to deliver 12 unique AR filters across all of BuzzFeed’s IP’s (including The Good Advice Cupcake, Weird Hegla, Chikn Nuggit, and The Land of Boggs). We worked closely with BuzzFeed’s Director of Engineering, Joseph Bergen, to ensure all filters are available on TikTok and Instagram.
If Rain Cured Heartache
If Rain Cured Heartache is a story reel I created for Pixar’s bi-annual Story Xperiential course in 2022.
In this project, I used Pixar’s unique storytelling techniques to tell the story of Melda, a girl who fears getting wet in a world where dancing in the rain can cure emotional pain.
Melda learns that we cannot enjoy the full breadth of what our lives have to offer until we allow ourselves to heal. However, healing demands tremendous courage and willingness to let go of the past.
DALI Values
In 2021, the Dartmouth Applied Learning and Innovation (DALI) Lab set out to create a new animated video encapsulating the lab’s eight core values. I worked closely with the lab’s stakeholders to conceptualize and create a fitting, playful animatic illustrating the spirit of the lab. forDALI’s talented animators (including Timothy Yang and Damini Kohli) to bring to life.
